Itinerary for 3 Nights in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park

Trail within Grant Grove

Day 1
Drove to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park and entered via Big Stump Entrance.  Booked a walk-in site at Azalea Campground. After setting up my tent, I walked to the nearby Grant Grove and to Lion Meadow.

Day 2
Broke down my campsite and drove to King's Canyon Valley floor.  Drove to Grizzly Falls and onward to Roaring River Falls.  From Roaring River Falls, walked to Zumwalt Meadow.  Set up camp at Lodgepole Campground.

Day 3
Drove to Wolverton parking lot to hike the Alta Trail to Alta Peak. Spent the night at Lodgepole Campground.

Day 4
Broke down campsite and drove out the park. Had lunch at Sierra Subs and Salad in  the town of Three Rivers. Then onward to the long drive back home.
